Pascha Celebration 2024

Pascha is the Feast of Feasts for Orthodox Christians. On Great and Holy Pascha we celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ!

This year, the parish joined the faithful at St. Basil the Great in St. Louis for the overnight Paschal Liturgy. And then the parish celebrated the Agape Vespers for Pascha at St. Justin in Cape Girardeau. After the service, we had a big festal picnic at the park in Scott City. We were so pleased to be joined by other Christians to celebrate this picnic with us.

The children enjoyed an egg hunt and much candy after the meal. And then romped and played on the playground at the quiet park.
